Digital Art

AI Art - Painterly

I create AI art using Midjourney, and typically edit it in Photoshop. We are living in the midst of an AI art revolution, and I believe the best way to approach it, is to embrace it fully. Their are limitless AI styles, and I have provided a sample of my AI art in a few styles below. I view AI as a tool to create art faster for commercial purposes (thus reducing clients’ costs), and also for creative inspiration. However, I remain entirely dedicated to developing my human creativity–it is the spark of life.

Photography

I shoot all photos with a Sony A7III, and usually edit in Photoshop. I have enjoyed living in North Florida, and the images here reflect my time on the Gulf of Mexico, and further inland in Wakulla Springs, and Tallahassee. I have taken thousands of photos, and this is just a small sampling. At some point I may upload larger portfolios of shoots I did in various towns or parks, like the charming Apalachicola, or St. Mark’s National Wildlife Refuge.

There is a certain magic and mystique to North Florida that is hard to encapsulate in words. I think it has something to do with the humid summers that force one to slow down, as well as the bountiful natural environment that can be explored–from the coast, to the rivers, to the forests. North Florida is a true gem; it feels like a secret, quite hideaway, where an entrancing mystery novel could unfold.

The sweet cat, “Pheobe,” in the latter black and white photo section, was a rescue at one of the local cat cafes. She had a virus when she was younger, which inhibited her growth, but she was as energetic and curious as ever. I caught her in a brief moment of stillness and focus.
